With the beginning of the academic year, it should be known that the Holy Quran opened a new path in epistemology:
Whoever has lost a sense has no knowledge of the same path. This statement is true.
But the message of the Quran and the prophets is:
“Whoever has lost piety has lost scholars”;
Piety is the gateway to knowledge.
The difference between right and wrong, truth and falsehood, good and evil, is achieved through piety:
“If you fear Allah, He will make for you a criterion”; “Whoever has lost piety has lost scholars.”
Many sciences, whether in the seminary or in the university, are not effective because they rely only on the principle of “whoever has lost sense”; because they have not observed the path of revelation, that is, piety.
